My Guilty Pleasure

I'm calling Paris my new home. The states aren't giving me what the French girls are. You know I live for a nasty heel, nasty fit and an even nastier attitude. If I can get all that in one place, why not call it home?

Tote That Lean

Reebok brings us a piece of their new 2009 Fall Collection in the form of the "Ex-O-Fit." The shoe fuses together current trends from fashion; ranging from the Martin Margiela style sole to the Nike-esq strap. I like these shoes for the fact they venture away from Reebok's normal template. I could see them paired with a variety of outfits and complemented with a plethora of things. Reebok hit it on the head with these.

Collection: Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 Footwear Collection

Never have I seen Paisley, Patent and Animal look so good together. These shoes are conventional, modern and so fucking Chic! Excuse my language people, I'm excited. This is the first footwear collection I've seen in awhile that conveys exactly where we are in fashion right now. Jacobs is right on with this collection!

And you ask why he's the top dog at LV?

Tip In The White Party Like Aoooow

With the amount of white parties coming up in the next few months, I've found the perfect shoe to make you the hit of any party. The shoe pictured above is from Giuliano Fujiwara's Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. I'm in love with the simplistic design, exquisite cuts and immaculate tailoring.

Who Stole The Honeycomb?

These Nike Skinny Dunks are a spring must have. I love everything from the Paule Marrot print to the chaotic butterfly pattern and bronze detailing. These could be paired with some fatigue shorts for a day in the park with friends or with a skinny jean and v-neck for a casual day around the house. I thought my shoe phase was over but, these may pull me back to the other side.

I'm enticed, aren't you?

Let's Tip In This Recession

Okay if you know me then you know I love to find a fashion bargain. There is nothing better than finding that perfect shoe, purse, or outfit on the clearance rack. Some may call this cheap, but I just call it having a fashion consciousness. Anyway, imagine my surprise when I learned that my favorite winner from Project Runway Mr. Christian Soriano will be designing a shoe collection from my favorite Spring/Summer shoe store.

For their Fall 09 collection, Payless has teamed up with the PR winner to offer the girls some new material to tip in at affordable prices. The shoes, which range in price from $25-$45, were first unveiled during NY Fashion Week this past February. Soriano who is known for is dramatic flare will not disappoint with this collection. From what I have seen I can already see myself this Fall tipping with some leggings and my leather coat with my CS for Payless shoes on. Only thing I am praying is that these shoes do not hurt my feet, because as you know cheap shoes can do that sometimes.

But what do you think my lovely YGT readers? Is this collection making you feel some type of way? Did you even like Christian on Project Runway? Do you shop at Payless? What other affordable stores do you? Let me know via the comments section.

Summer 2009: Intro To The Mandal

It's 2009 and I'm ready for new things; I've been a fan of the mandal for awhile now but, I've been working on how I'm going to incorporate it into my wardrobe. I like this sandal from Rachel Comey for the fact it's so chic yet modern. I love the color and the masculine aspect in the detailing. I could see this paired with a nice short and simple oxford for dinner out with friends. I'm excited for the summer; Mother Nature do me justice.
