Nelly Feat. Pharrell Williams "Let It Go" Official Video
Nelly teamed up with Pharrell Williams for his fourth single and video, Let It Go, which is off the rappers 5th studio album, Brass Knuckles.
I watched the video once and I must say I'm actually impressed with the song and video. The band-esq beat is really catchy and fits well with the overall theme of the song. When I first saw this was a video from Nelly, I was shocked because I didn't know he was still pulling from Brass Knuckles. But, after watching the video I'm thinking "If he likes it, I love it!"
That is all.

Another One Bites The Dust At Bad Boy
Video: Yung Joc talks the real deal that is "Bad Boy" and why he's ready to end his contract and leave.
I can't even say this is unexpected. Look at Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Loon, 112, Carl Thomas, G-Dep, Janelle Monae, Danity Kane. Do I need to continue?

I Just Wanna Be ______________
Video: Trey Songz and his website go behind the scenes for Drake's new video "Successful" which is the second single from his yet, titled debut album which is set to drop later this year.
I just hope this go round Drake's new video is as hot as the song. I adore Kanye and all his work as an artist but, when it comes to directing that's not really his forte. Hence, the bad feedback "Best I Ever Had" received. Personally, the video had no connection to the lyrics of the song. I adore Kanye and his various aesthetics but, I didn't see what he was going for in that particular video. Hopefully this time around with a new director and story line we'll understand exactly what it is they were trying to accomplish with "Successful!" With that said, be on the look out for the video when it drops later this month!

This Is The Highest Cost
Video: Maxwell performs "Bad Habits" on Good Morning America.
That 7 year hiatus did wonders, not only for his vocally ability but, his overall stage presence. I recently posted a performance of "Pretty Wings" where Maxwell shut it down. This new performance lives up to the first and showcases why even after a 7 year hiatus, Maxwell still has it!
With that said, make sure you pick up his new album, Blacksummer's night which is in stores NOW!

Babyyyyy You Want Me?
Footage: N.E.R.D performs "Lapdance" and "Rockstar" for a Michigan audience.
I've had the opportunity to see N.E.R.D twice and both times they were amazing. Talk about a group who puts on a real performance. From their high energy to engaging crowd involvement, they are definitely a group to be on the lookout for. If you ever have the opportunity to check them out live make sure you do!
Until then, ENJOY this live performance courtesy of YGT & WSH!

Mario Feat. Gucci Mane & Sean Garrett "Break Up" -- Official Video
Mario teamed up with Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett for his first single 'Break Up' from his new album, set to be titled "And Then There Was Me." I like the new video; it's fresh and unlike any other r&b singles we have out right now. With Mario's past singles, they've been very ballad-drive, but with this new song he's giving you up-tempo/rap! Mario suffered lack-luster record sales with Go! but, I'm looking forward to the progression of him vocally and as an artist with this new album. The album's set to hit stores early September so, be on the look out!

Goodbye Wheelchair Jimmy
After hearing all the hype surrounding Drake's debut video, I must say I'm not really impressed. I was expecting something great with Mr. West as director but, what they've given us is a reincarnated Degrassi episode with the addition of scantily clad women. I respect Drake and his lyrical flow but, as far as the video, I'm not seeing it. YGT readers let me know how you feel.
