FRESH FACE// MARLON TEIXEIRA
Marlon began modeling only one year ago at the precocious age of 16, after his grandmother took him from a small Brazilian town to São Paulo to see about getting him established in modeling. She felt that he had a look, not to mention the girls (and probably boys) were chasing him all about town. As soon as the owner of Way Models saw him, he was signed on the spot and flown back and forth between the US and Europe for a few shoots. Now, after only ONE YEAR in the business, the newly turned 17-year-old, 6′2” Marlon is already booking ads alongside top male models/supermodels in shoots for Gucci and Armani, the new face of Dior Homme and represented by/affiliated with FIVE modeling agencies in three continents that were all competing to have him on their roster: Way Model Management (Brazil), Wihelmina (New York), MGM (Paris), Premier (London), Fashio (Milan)
With one Portuguese parent and one of Japanese/Indian descent, Marlon's exotic mix of worldwide genes creates a racial ambiguity similar to that of supermodel Janice Dickinson in her prime, allowing him to be a cultural chameleon capable of appearing to be of many heritages.
