Peep these pictures from the 5th Annual Fashion Rocks Extravaganza. I must say out of everyone I was most impressed with Ciara and Rihanna. I feel as if both ladies accomplished what was needed for this particular event. I like how Ciara's dress showed off her wonderful physique and how Rihanna went for the more simplistic look, which at times can be rare for her. I give props to both ladies for knowing what works for what event. My least favorite outfit(s) for the night would have to be between Chris Brown and Ashanti. The two always do alot. Chris needs to wear clothes more appropriate for his age. If your going to be this young r&b connoisseuryou need to dress the role. He should have went for the more classic look. Maybe a plain, white Versace button-up with some crisp dark blue, cropped slacks with a brown dress shoe. That would have been a bit more chic and age appropriate. If your girlfriend is out her tippin as this fashion icon but, your out here dressed like lateboots, what's the point? Come on Chris we got to do better. Now Ms. Ashanti on the other end. SHEESH!! I sometimes think Ashanti tries to hard to achieve what we'd call 'FASHIONABLE' status. Her dress was sparkly but, not done in the correct fashion. When you do sparkles you have to make sure they add to the dress all the while still complementing you. Her dress didn't do that. I also don't feel like the shoes accentuated the dress. If she was going to do that dress I could have seen a strappy Roberto Cavalli sandal. That would have went hard. As I've stated before though 'To each is it's own'. I'm just offering my viewpoint. Lastly, Ms. Tyra Banks. I'm neutral with her outfit. It didn't give me life but, not death either. Lace-front baby hairs definitely on point and make up flawless as usual, enough said for Ty-Ty Baby.
