Los Angeles, California (AP)- Singer Chris Brown is not out of hot water yet, but has to be breathing
easier after the felony-level domestic violence case against him was rejected by the Los Angeles District Attorney, and Brown was given permission to leave the state. In an effort to get away from media attention, Brown took the opportunity immediately. He booked a private jet, and sources say he is headed back home to Virginia. Neither Jive Records or his management team have issued any statement or acknowledgement of the events that happened this weekend. Rihanna's camp and Def Jam Records have also been silent. LAPD is keeping tight wraps on the files of the case, with the chief detective reportedly keeping the file with him at all times to prevent the information from being leaked. Chris Brown and Rihanna's lawyers have both responded with "no comment".
