I'm Whipping My Hair

497º is a new creative space that aims to create synergies. It opens up dialogues between artists and designers, and evolves with each new season in a natural, eclectic way that pushes creativity to the limits.

In this their first season, the creative team wanted to experiment with the brand's knitwear tradition, decontextualising it from classic patterns and experimenting with volumes and shapes.

Paper Doll

The real tea is that the dresses and accessories were all made of paper. Now, that's what you call Innovation. I wonder can I get a paper tux for Fall Fest? I'm on it!

We Are The Future

Eye Candy: Chanel Perspex Briefcase

This week in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld presented a poised, elegant and mostly black take on power suiting for Chanel that included this fantastically witty take on the working gal's briefcase.

She Likes My Diamonds

Perhaps not as well-known for its watch engineering as it is its fashion and luggage offerings, the new Louis Vuitton Tambour Mysterieuse watch makes a strong case for itself. Inspired by movements originally conceived by Jean-Eugene Robert Houdin back in the 19th century, Louis Vuitton’s appropriation carries on the legacy as the watch features on mobile sapphire discs which create a stunning visual arrangement between the mechanics and the markers around the dial. The watch is also fully customizable to the users preferences including parts of the strap and dial.

Photo: A local Paris man gives me what I want at the Dior show.

I love how he chose simple pieces. You can never go wrong when you rock with a simple white button up. It's classic, weather friendly and chic. He chose the fitted, dress short which is a summer essential. They push the boundary between business and fun! Who wouldn't want to give both? I also like he chose the short in a print! It's hard sometimes with print but, if you do print remember to make every other piece simple. I also love the splash of color on his feet. I'm guessing from the look that the shoes are Tod's. You can never go wrong with a classic shoe. Overall, this outfit gets an A++ from me. I give this outfit an A for the simple yet bold choices! You can never go wrong when you stay simple yet modern! Take note my male, fashion connoisseurs!

Little Red Riding Hood

Who needs names, dates and places when you have Lanvin? Red is the color for this particular piece and what this color does to this dress is beyond words! I could slap Anna (oops, one name drop) for showing out like this!

And you guys call me a show off!

A Gift For London & Hunter -- My Future Children

I was browsing the infamous Kanye University Blog when I came across this very interesting picture. Your eyes do not deceive you; Above, those are Louis Vuitton pieces constructed from Legos. How innovative is that? I was never into Legos as a child but, if they were constructed in the signature LV color I know I'd been the first one in the playroom. The Lego interpretation was made by Chiu Keung; a "expert-builder" who's a member of the Hong Kong Lego User Group. So, he's not new to this, I'd have to say he's true to this!

Bubble Gum Pop

Photographer:Javier Vallhonrat

The mix of bright colors, cute patterns and subtle detailing is what attracts me to these pictures. It's something about these pictures that give me a mixture of 80's, bubble gum pop intertwined with today's fashion. You see it?

Say Chao To That FUPA

Now, all my women with a light bulge know about Spanx; you've grown to love them and some would call them a part of their everyday life. Well Spanx has a new clothing line called Haute Contour. The new collection features the classic waist shrinking, bulge hiding fabric but, with the new addition of lace tops and skirts. It's perfect for the delicate type who has that light summer bulge she's still getting rid of. The collection is so innovative that it's been said that if one were to ever undress from the pieces in front of someone it would not be evident that the person was wearing slimming undergarments. Now imagine this; you have a hot date with Maurice, your old boo who hasn't seen you in 3 months. Now he is expecting you to look fierce but, he also remembers the extra pounds you put on while he was gone. Now when you show up with the new Haute Contour Spanx on, not only will he be impressed by how fierce you look but, by the appearance of how small you are. Now, if that's not innovation I don't know what it is!

You can thank me later!

Who You Calling A Queen

The Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Jewelry Collection

Above, I present some pieces from the new Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Collection; Now you know I'm one for labels. Not for the name but, for the quality. I'm a profound believer in you get what you pay for. That ties directly with the new Louis Vuitton pieces above. Get into the stone detailing in correlation with the beautiful coloring of the diamonds. I could see these draped on Kerry Washington or Sarah Jessica Parker. These aren't for the average; they're for the type who tips without remorse.

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree

Sighting: Gwen Stefani and 3 year old son, Kingston Rossdale.

At the ripe age of 3, Kingston's always draped in designer duds by true religion, rock and republic and Ugg. Shouldn't it be a crime to go this hard before your 4th birthday? Nah, I say "It ain't trick'n if you got it!"

With that said, We want to send a Happy Birthday Shoutout to Kingston who turns 4 on May 26th!
