Moment In Style: Rihanna

I know, I know. I've been distant from the blogosphere but, in my time of absence I haven't been totally disconnected from the fashion realm. If you can remember before my brief hiatus, I posted the video for Jay-Z's "Run This Town" video. Now, Run This Town has always been one of my favorite records but, when I was exposed to the video I was taken to a new place. That was partially due to Rihanna's immaculate clothing in the video. One piece that really caught my attention was the Military-esq jacket she wore in the opening scene. Well, I was doing some research on Rihanna Daily Style and I came across some information on the piece. I found out the piece is Jeremy Scott and is from his Spring Collection which is set to hit stores in January. Now, as much as I don't want to give RiRi life, she's a genius for this piece. It was a perfect fit for the video. It was sexy, edgy and something we'd never seen before. With attributes that amazing, I can't help but give her an A+ for this look. All I can say is if she keep's tippin like this, I'm going to have to make her a permanent fixture on my BAD BITCH ROSTER! And anyone who knows me can tell you, that's a hard list to get added to.

Eye Candy: Kanye and on & off girlfriend, Amber Rose on the beach earlier this week.

I can't even front, Amber's bad and I mean B-A-D! From Momma's OVAH persona to her sickening body that appears like something sent from the gods. I've argued many people down about how if you took away Amber's buzz cut she'd look like any other white girl but, these pictures have TOTALLY changed my mind. Momma's definitely the business. It's like Brooke and Alexus who? Those are no names when put up against the ROSE. Oh how we love that delicate ROSE!

I'm Sitting Like A Lady

As, you've all probably noticed from frequenting YGT is that I post alot on shoes. As a huge shoe guru, I find shoes amazing! It's something so appealing about what they can do for any outfit. They posses the ability take a lackluster outfit and transform it into the "talk of any party." For that reason, I've posted this very interesting shoe I found on Jak & Jil's Blog. Above, I present this amazingly, simple black wedge. Now, alot of females lean away from high heels for the "hurt" factor that comes along. Well, a great alternative for that is the wedge. It provides height, that "umph" factor the girls will envy and the "tip" factor that's a FC necessity! Now, I'm not saying rid yourself of all those wonderful stiletto's you already have, I'm just giving you an alternative for those off days. Remember, your only allowed 1 off day a week.

Well to provide you with a live example, I give you Astrid Munoz -- Look at her demeanor, it screams "I don't need you to like me, I love myself enough!" Now, I'm not saying by any means it's okay to be stuck up. We all need a slice of humble pie from time to time. But, didn't Beysus say 'I'm all I got in the end, that's what I found out.'

I must start with 1.) You can never go wrong with the perfect frame. Mary-Kate opted for a simple yet chic frame that accentuated her messy up-do and ovah prune. 2.) I love! love! love! the over-sized, shirt, dress. It's cute and comfortable which are two qualities most women seek in their clothing. 3.) Last, I must go in for this wonderful shoe. It's so stacked, sexy and sensual! When you do a dress that's over sized and comfortable you must go in with your footwork. Mary-Kate knew she was giving everyone what they wanted when she chose this outfit. Werk out MK!

Momma Tippin Like It's Nothin

Sighting: Kelis At MoMA’s 41st Annual Party

It's great to see Kelis out and about considering everything that's going on with her. Imagine going through a divorce all the while awaiting the arrival of your first child. It's got to be crazy! I give Momma kudos for keeping her head up all the while still tippin boots.

Kelis even went as far as to update her twitter with how she's doing despite everything that's going on:

Word on the street is that Ashley is finally ready to say goodbye to acting and pursue her real passion, FASHION!

I'm personally excited for this move, for the mere fact Ashley's been tippin non-stop for awhile and it's about time she fully submerges her high-fashion heel into the industry. Now, Ashley isn't throwing complete shade to Mary-Kate; the two will continue working on their clothing line, The Row. Ashley will just be more hands on with the creative process and the creation of the new menswear line, set to drop later this year.

Well, as more unfolds on Ashley and her evolution you can guarantee YGT will keep you up to date. Until then, we'll just leave you with some pictures of her tippin through various spots in the world. This chick isn't new to this, she's true to this!

Victoria Beckham never ceases to amaze me; I've talked about the jacket and militant hat before but, get into that White Hermes Birkin; that's what? 4 or 5 she has in her collection? This girl is a fucking force to be reckoned with. Maybe they do make em better in London.

Tipper Sighting: Vicky B Edition

Vicky B arrived at a NYC airport to attend the annual MET gala. Now that wasn't the gagger, she always tips through airports. The gagger was her giving militant tease with the Balmain leather jacket, Loewe cap and suede red bottoms pumps. I don't know how Vicky B does it; balance being a fashionista, fab mom & ovah fashion connoisseur. She needs to bottle herself and sell it. I'd buy it!
