Call Me The Paper Bag Boy

I love this new bag exclusively made by Ramon Middelkoop. It's innovative, cute and something that we're use to seeing but, not in this form. Think how many times we go into the store and they ask Paper or Plastic? Now it's more like "Neither," I have my own! For the price of $82, this is a any season MUST-HAVE!! Quote me.

They call me "The F.C.," for a reason!

Kanye & Amber Rose Sighting

This is what you call OVAH TEAS; They gallivant, done to the nines, paying everyone and everything in sight. That's the life. Welcome to Hollywood, people!

Would you call me a snob?

She Strikes Her Prey

[Alek Wek For I-D Magazine]
Wek is transformed into an African Queen for the new photo in I-D Magazine, I can't of anyone who could have pulled off this picture any better. From the beautiful color of Wek's skin, to her strong features and immaculate body; She's one sickening poster child. You can never go wrong with Alek.

I Die.

Call Me The Candy Man

These Burgundy Beasts are apart of Supra and their new NS Line. They main contents of these shoes would have to be the burgundy leather and perforated panels. I've learned you can never go wrong with Supra, they know how to give you low-key glitz; Never overbearing but, always just enough! I like that.

Beyonce Tells Ebony Magazine "I Will Never Retire!"

Mrs. Carter covers the April issue of Ebony magazine looking OVAH BOOTS. Inside the interview, Beyonce talks the typical; husband Jay-Z, what it feels like to be a wife and her now "past," plans to retire at the age of 21.
On staying out of Jay-z’s business dealings:
“He was very successful before I met him and I was very successful before I met him. So we have so much respect for each other, and respect for each other artistically. We are very close friends, and I believe he is the ultimate artist and he has the same feelings for me.”
On her Business decisions:
“I turn down million dollar offers all the time because it’s something that does not feel true for what I’m trying to say. I have to be passionate about it. Love inspires and growth inspires me…If it is not going to be iconic, something I can love 10 years from now, I’ve learned I should not waste my time with it.”
One thing she does to get on his nerves:
“I’m a little messy. Oh, yeah. Whenever I’m out in public, I have to be put together. When I get home, I rebel against it and I don’t want to take care of anything. I drop it. I’m relaxed. I don’t have any shoes on. No makeup. My purse is in the kitchen. I think that is most difficult thing for him. He’s very, very organized. I’m extremely organized when I’m working, and I work so much that when I get home I don’t want to think about anything.”
When asked to describe herself as a wife:
“I don’t know how to talk about it because I don’t like to talk about it. But I have a great example of a great wife, and that’s my mother. And I have great friends around me that have been married, so I’m lucky to have really good examples. And a great husband.”
On claiming she would retire at 21:
“I’ve worked so hard on my craft, and I will never stop. I will never retire. I love it way too much.”

The After Shock

There have been pictures of Rihanna everywhere on the beach but, none that look like this. These pictures snatched from The Insider show a distraught Rihanna at a beach side villa in Punta Mita, Mexico. It's been said Rihanna is in Mexico to heal and get a break from all the publicity surrounding her domestic violence case but, from the way she appears in the photos, she must either be over the healing process or missing Chris. If it's option two we might as well say goodbye to her career. Who goes back to someone accused of almost strangling you into unconsciousness? Come on now Ri-Ri! It can't be that good.

Throwback Thursday

If you know music you remember Pressha and his first single "Splackavelli," I remember going to a concert in like the 6th grade where Pressha performed. Damn, that was when music had some substance. Granted the videos were corny, we actually had to get into the lyrics and the artist. Damn, I miss those days! Real music, step to the forefront.

He ain't your boyfriend, he ain't your husband. Just somebody you can call when your body needs a fix, he'll put you in the mix!

What's my name? Say My Name, Splackavelli!!

Still Standing

It seems like Black History Month flew by; Maybe February being the shortest month of all 12 contributes to it seeming as if it flew by. Nonetheless, in honor of Black History month and all our terrific ancestors I put this Dsquared ring up in honor of one of our most notable humanitarians, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I could see it now; MLK Jr. completing his community service all the while looking down at his I Have A Dream Ring; I love it. That's besides the point though, the point in this post isn't to make a fool out of the ring, it's to open your eyes. We have so many amenities and priviledges that our forefathers and ancestors weren't allowed today that we take for granted. On this one day, I just want you to take a minute out and realize how blesses and priviledged you are. Forget the recession, the economy and everything that may be going wrong. Think of the positives, the many people who fought for the small things you have today and the benefit of being a Black, African American Collegiate student; those alone should motivate you to get out there and do something. Without men and women like Martin, Rosa, W.E Dubois, Harriet, Malcolm and Thurgood; there would be no Barack, Michelle, Colin and Condoleezza. And imagine how the world would be then?

Let's never let the legacy die,
When we do that, we have NOTHING.

Just some food for thought!

It's All About The Bulk

Ever since the 2008 Victoria Secret Fashion Show, I've been infatuated with huge scarfs. You can do so much with them; you can do a strong drape close to the neck, a long drape that towers over your shoulder or even a combo. of both. The point I'm trying to get across is just the fact you can do so much with them. Well, I guess alot of designers were thinking the same thing for their Fall/Winter Collections. Below, I've included some immaculate scarves that were seen on the runway. Get into it before it's labeled "late."

Sounds perfect right? So you go to your closet to pick out the perfect ensemble when you have 4 options that each appeal in their own different way. The 4 outfits are outlined below; be careful and choose wisely. Remember, you're going to be shopping, gallivanting and catching a movie. The Re-Birth Get's Pushed Back

Rumor has it, Lil Wayne's forthcoming rock-inspired album "REBIRTH" will not be released under Universal Music Group. The decision is withdrawn by the record label's executives because they fear that the album will fail and knock Wayne from being the top-selling singer.

According to This Is 50, people at the recording company have warned Wayne through his manager Cortez Bryant, saying that "if Wayne doesn't brighten up they have to turn into Mr. Evil Record Company and just tell him it's never going to be released." As of press time, no comment has been shared by the rapper's management team concerning the rumor.

Lil Wayne previously pushed back "REBIRTH" from April 7 to May 19 release. He will enter recording booth with alternative rock band Fall Out Boy and make a collaboration with the Patrick Stump-fronted band in the record.

"Prom Queen", the first single off the record has been released since late January. Using Auto-Tune on the hook, it rose to number 15 on Billboard Hot 100 and charted at number 16 on Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles despite its rock genre.

When R&B Groups Go Bad!

Here are some pictures of Dru Hill taken at the premiere for their new reality TV show. I don't even know where to begin; First, Nokio's burgundy Mohawk talk about a mess, who puts studs in their hair anymore? Then Sisqo's late blond hair. It was innovative back in the 90's but, now it's beyond lateboots. Woody????????? Enough said. Last guy, pointless. It's done, there's no hope left.

Now something like that is what you call a READ!!
