New Chris Rock Movie "Good Hair"
Chris Rock has released the trailer for his new movie "Good Hair" which documents the evolution of black hair from pre-relaxer to post perm. The movie starts by going back in history and documenting how perms started and how they've kept their relevance in the current day. The movie even goes as far as having avid, weave wearers Lauren London, Nia Long and Meagen Good speak on their experience with weaves. Now, when I first heard about this movie I was skeptical. But, looking at the amount of questions people have surrounding weave, I feel this will provide a concise, in depth documentation of the force that is "The Weave." Now, we just have to wait and see how the weave wearers react.

Wikipedia - Next Day Air is about a misguided over night delivery driver who inadvertently delivers a package containing concealed bricks of cocaine to the wrong address. This sets in motion a desperate search and battle for the coke between the furious dealer that sent it, the fearful intended recipients that missed it, and the conniving accidental recipients that plan to flip it.
Yes all black cast; Director, Benny Boom did a good job of picking the cast. He got notable names but, also actors/actresses who are talented comedians. Next Day Air hits theaters May 8th; Make sure you check it out!

Denzel On Sex Scenes In Movies

The Training Day Oscar winner triumphed over legend Clint Eastwood to be named as the best actor in Hollywood.
Yet, critics of Denzel Washington claim the sex symbol rarely features in sex scenes and has even refused to do them in some movies.
In a recent interview the Oscar winner defended his decision saying, “I’m not into the explicitness of sex scenes if it doesn’t fit the movie. I’m not just going to do it because some producer thinks it will sell tickets”.
Another star who also avoided sex scenes prior to “Seven Pounds” was Will Smith who tied for third place on The Actors Poll. Several sources claim Smith’s reluctance to do sex scenes was based on his admiration of Denzel, who often avoided or petitioned the scenes to be cut.

There was an A-list roster at AMC Lincoln Square, New York City for The Notorious Premiere. The list included stars from the cast like Derek Luke, Natauri Naughton and Angela Bassett along with Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z and Ciara. Obsessed Movie Trailer
This movie trailer gives me hope, maybe it'll make up the slack for Cadillac Records. If all else fails, we've still got Idris Elba and Ali Larter, two well known actors.

The Secret Life of Bees

Set in South Carolina in 1964, The Secret Life of Bees tells the story of Lily Owens, whose life is shaped by her blurred memory of the afternoon of her mother's accidental death. When Lily's black "stand-in mother," Rosaleen, insults three racists in town, they escape to Tiburon, South Carolina, a town that holds the secret to Lily's mother's past. Taken in by an eccentric trio of black beekeeping sisters, Lily is introduced to their mesmerizing world of bees and honey, is forced to confront her own dark past and learns what it means to be a family.
As an avid movie viewer, I must tell everyone to check out "The Secret Life Of Bees" starring Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and Sophie Okonedo. I can't articulate into words how great this movie is. From the astonishing cast to mind-blowing plot, it's a movie-must see. It's rare a movie grabs you during the opening and holds you until the end but, Secret Life Of Bees.. does! So with that said, finish checking You Got Tea and head to the movies right now. We need to continue to support our black films.

Will Smith Blockbuster On Deck
Awhile back there were pictures of Will Smith, scantily clad showing off a toned physique. Well those pictures were from "Seven Pounds" a movie starring none other than blockbuster-hit maker himself. Will plays Ben, an IRS agent who is depressed and guilt-ridden about mistakes from his past and sets out to make amends by helping seven strangers. I'm excited about this film, it appears to be a great role for Will. These past few movies we've seen the whole super-hero character. So, this will tie the Will we previously saw in films such as "Six Degrees of Separation" and "Pursuit of Happyness" which was directed by the same director as Seven Pounds, Gabriele Muccino. The movie is set to release in December so stay tuned for more details.

Anna Faris Is Cunt Boots
Get into the trailer for House Bunny, the new comedy featuring Scary Movies' Anna Faris. I love the scene where she is tippin like Marilyn Monroe. From watching the trailer this movie seems to be a fresh, young comedy which I like. I've enjoyed Faris' past work in Scary Movie even though they tend to become tedious. But, nonetheless I look forward to seeing 'House Bunny' when it hits theatres on Friday, August 22nd.
