With New Years Eve happening tonight, here are some facts to remember so that you can start off 2009 right.
- Don't claim you're ready to do all these magnificent things in 2009 when you know damn well you didn't do shit in 2008.
- If your feeling some type of way about one of your friends, don't invite them over for New Years Eve, get drunk, then do a light read while intoxicated. You'll wake up either happy you got the burden off your chest or mad at yourself for letting it happen that way.
- Don't have random sex with someone just because it's New Years Eve. Remember you want to bring in 2009 the right way, not the CLASS-less way.
- Make New Years Resolutions for yourself that you know you can keep. Good examples of New Years Resolutions include: Exercising, getting a better paying job, saving money, creating more hobbies for yourself, going back to school. You get the picture, create a resolution that will better you in the long run.
- Make sure you have a designated driver/public transportation ready for when you've hit the edge with the cocktails
- Last but not least, remember to have FUN it's the end of 08 and the beginning of 2009. We have so many things to be happy for. One being, the succession of President-Elect, Barack Obama. Like he said "Change is going to come."
